Subject	is there a way i can bypass the safety mode?

Message	my car is stuck in saftey mode and still throwing a code 55, i know there is nothing wrong with it..but why would it be in safety mode? and is there any way i can get it out of safety mode? i know its safety mode...bc its running really rich and is very hesitant and only runs about 3psi and the other day it came out of safety mode and was 10x faster and sounded like a new car and was very responsive..now its back to being horrible and sluggish...thanks in advance
